Indian ADRs ended in red; ICICI Bank down 6%, VSNL down by more than 5%

Indian ADRs ended in red following weak global markets. The major losers were ICICI Bank, which was down by 6% at $ 39.44 and VSNL, which was down by more than 5% at $ 18.87.
Losers in technology sector were Satyam Computers, down 4.36% at $ 25.03, Infosys, down 3.05% at $ 46.68, Patni Computers, down 1.24% at $ 19.90 and Wipro, down 1.6% at $ 13.53.
In other sectors, all the stocks were the losers except MTNL, which gained a paltry 0.3% and was at $ 6.65. Dr Reddy’s was down by 0.7% at $ 15.51 and HDFC Bank was down by 3.97% was at $ 79.56 while Tata Teleservices was down by 2.6% at $ 16.51.
