Refex Refrigerants ends with 4.61% discount

Refex Refrigerants ended at Rs 62 on BSE, a discount of 4.61% over the IPO price of Rs 65.
The scrip debuted at Rs 69.10. It had touched a high of Rs 73.80 and a low of Rs 61.05.
On BSE, 60.67 lakh shares of the scrip were traded.
At the current market price of Rs 62, the scrip has a PE of 23.84, based on the year ended March 2007 annualised EPS of Rs 2.6.
Refex Refrigerants plans to utilise the net proceeds of the fixed-price, which closed on 26 July 2007, IPO to part finance its Rs 36.15-crore plan for expansion of the installed capacity of refrigerant gases from present 480 tonnes per annum (tpa) to 3,000 tpa.
Refex Refrigerants refills non-ozone depleting refrigerant gases, or hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs). Unlike CFC and other refrigerant gases, HFC is eco-friendly and does not harm the ozone layer. It is used in auto airconditioners, room airconditioners, refrigerators and refrigerating equipments.
Refex Refrigerants reported a net profit of Rs 3.92 crore on sales of Rs 51.29 crore in the year ended March 2007.
