FIIs net buy in equity $ 100.5 Mn; MFs net buy in equity Rs 67.4 Cr; Dow up 58 pts at 13363; Nasdaq up 8.4 pts at 2614

On Sep 5, FIIs net buy in equity were $ 100.5 million while MFs net buy in equity were Rs 67.4 crore. NSE F&O OI was up Rs 2,925 crore at Rs 75,499 crore.

On global front, ECB and BoE leave benchmark interest rates unchanged. US markets posted modest gains ahead of August Non-farm payroll data. Dow was up by 58 points at 13363 while Nasdaq was up by 8.4 points at 2614. US 10-year treasury yield was at 4.50%. CBOE Volatility Index was down by 2.4% at 23.99. Oil traded near 5-week high at $ 76.46/bbl after US inventory dropped.

In Asia, Asian markets opened mixed. In Emerging markets, Brazil was up by 0.3% and Russia was up by 0.8%. In currency market, Yen appreciated slightly to 115.23/$; hits intra-day high of 115.17/$.
