Micro Inks leads gainers in 'A' group

Huber Group company Micro Inks soared 8.11% to Rs 409.90 and it topped gainers in the BSE’s A group shares. It reported a net profit of Rs 13.71 crore in Q1 June 2007 as against net loss of Rs 13.74 crore in Q1 June 2006. Sales rose 8.6% to Rs 253.87 crore in Q1 June 2007 over Q1 June 2006.

IT service provider Mastek spurted 7.18% to Rs 281.35. It was the second biggest gainer in A group.

South based cement firm India Cements jumped 7.15% to Rs 268.20 and was third biggest gainer in A group. Its net profit rose 62.89% to Rs 183.4 crore on 44.5% increase in sales to Rs 710.18 crore in Q1 June 2007 over Q1 June 2006.

State-run container train operator Container Corporation of India sprout 6.10% to Rs 2,220. It was the fourth biggest gainer in A group.

Reliance Energy, India's second largest power generation and supply firm by sales, rose 5.98% to Rs 823.45 and it came fifth among top gainers in A group.
