Futures OI was up Rs 1,622 crore while Options OI was up Rs 840 crore. Nifty Sep Futures added 2.6 lakh shares in OI and were at a discount at 1.6 points. Nifty Oct Futures added 4.7 lakh shares in OI. Nifty OI Put-Call ratio was unchanged at 1.53.

Nifty Puts added 7.9 lakh shares in OI while Nifty Calls added 5.2 lakh shares in OI. Nifty Sep 4400 Put added 2.2 lakh shares in OI; Nifty Sep 4500 Put added 1.95 lakh shares in OI; Nifty Oct 4500 Put added 1.48 lakh shares in OI; Nifty Sep 4600 Call added 2.9 lakh shares in OI and Stock Futures added 1.3 crore shares in OI.

Net buy by the FIIs in Nifty Futures were Rs 659 crore and the OI was up 21,334 contracts while net buy in Nifty Options were Rs 345 crore and OI was up 13,597 contracts. Net sell by the FIIs were Rs 475 crore in Stock Futures and OI was up 17,264 contracts.
