Bank of India leads gainers in 'A' group

Public sector lender Bank of India surged 22.28% to Rs 314.80. It topped the gainers in the BSE’s A group shares. The bank will declared Q2 September 2007 results on 29 October 2007.

Housing finance firm LIC Housing Finance soared 19.15% to Rs 269.45. It was the second biggest gainer in A group. The firm announced Q2 results yesterday, 22 October 2007. Its net profit rose 53.25% to Rs 116.37 crore on 36.84% rise in total income to Rs 526.58 crore in Q2 September 2007 over Q2 September 2006.

Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group firm Reliance Capital flared up 14.79% to Rs 1752.15 and came third among top gainers in A group. It will declare Q2 September 2007 result on 25 October 2007.

Huber Group firm Micro Inks spurted 13.38% to Rs 401.30. It was the fourth biggest gainer in A group. The company, today, reported net profit of Rs 18.66 crore in Q3 September 2007 compared to a net loss of Rs 7.41 crore in Q3 September 2006. Total income rose 25.63% to Rs 298.09 crore in Q3 September 2007 over Q3 September 2006.

Private sector lender Kotak Mahindra Bank moved up 13.21% to Rs 949.80. It was the fifth biggest gainer in A group. It will declare Q2 September 2007 result on 26 October 2007.
