NSE F&O Cues: Futures OI down Rs 3,234 Cr; Stock Futures shed 2.6 Cr shares in OI; Power Grid Oct sheds 141 lakh shares in OI

Futures OI was down Rs 3,234 crore while Options OI was up Rs 962 crore. Stock Futures shed 2.6 crore shares in OI and Stock options added 1.38 crore shares in OI. Nifty Oct Futures shed 10 lakh shares in OI while Nifty Nov Futures added 15 lakh shares in OI. Nifty OI Put-Call ratio stood at 1.23 Vs 1.36. Nifty Puts shed 5 lakh shares in OI while Nifty Calls added 15.8 lakh shares in OI.
Nifty 5700 Put added 2 lakh shares in OI; Nifty 5600 Call added 4.1 lakh shares in OI; Nifty 5700 Call added 2.88 lakh shares in OI; Nifty 5800 Call added 2.55 lakh shares in OI.
Huge option action was seen in the following stocks:
Power Grid 150 Call added 32 lakh shares in OI, premium at Rs 4.35
RNRL 110 Call added 24 lakh shares in OI
RPL 200 Call added 24 lakh shares in OI
On Oct 18, net sell by the FIIs in Nifty Futures were Rs 2,356 crore and the OI was up 34,532 contracts while net sell in Stock Futures were Rs 569 crore and the OI was up 3,726 contracts.
