RNRL tops volume on BSE

Reliance Natural Resources (RNRL) topped volume charts on BSE, clocking volumes of 2.82 crore shares. The stock gained 3.77% to Rs 119.85. RNRL's net profit jumped 175.83% to Rs 19.17 crore on 5.94% fall in net sales to Rs 11.72 crore in Q2 September 2007 over Q2 September 2006. The results were announced on 17 October 2007.

Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) clocked second highest volume of 2.80 crore shares on BSE. The stock slipped 1.09% to Rs 45.40.

Reliance Petroleum clocked third highest volume of 1.21 crore shares on BSE. The stock gained 6.10% to Rs 247.80.

Nagarjuna Chemicals & Fertilisers occupied the fourth spot clocking volumes of 1.21 crore shares. The stock rose 4% to Rs 62.55. As per reports, it is setting up two ready-to-use fertiliser granule units in West Bengal. Total investment for the twin units has been pegged at Rs 100 crore.

Power Grid Corporation of India clocked fifth highest volume of 1.17 crore shares on BSE. The stock advanced 2.05% to Rs 149.60. The company posted net profit of Rs 371.22 crore on total income of Rs 1108.10 crore for Q2 September 2007. Previous comparable figures were not available. The results were declared after market hours today, 31 October 2007.
